Who We Are

Ecosphere Restoration Institute, Inc. is a501(c)(3)nonprofit environmental organization with deep roots in the Tampa Bay region, dedicated to restoring coastal and freshwater ecosystems through science-based, nature-driven solutions.

For over 23 years, Ecosphere scientists have worked to protect shorelines, restore wetlands, improve water quality, and rebuild habitats that sustain both wildlife and people.

About Us

Our mission is to restore critical habitats, protect natural resources, and promote the use of living shorelines to benefit fish, wildlife, and people via public and private partnerships.

Our Mission

Ecosphere’s strength lies in our experience, efficiency, and trust. We bring decades of hands-on restoration expertise to each project, combining scientific rigor with practical implementation.

What Makes us Different

Key elements that set Ecosphere apart:

The P3 Partnership Approach

Through our Public/Private Partnership Approach, we help align funding, expertise, and long-term stewardship, to plan, execute, and scale restoration projects that would be difficult or impossible for any single sector to deliver alone.

This collaborative model allows resources to go further, reduces risk for participants, and supports science-based restoration even in challenging or highly regulated environments.
