Volunteer Restoration Event

Help protect and restore one of Tampa Bay’s most important waterways by volunteering along the Hillsborough River. This event focuses on hands-on actions that directly support river health, wildlife habitat, and long-term ecosystem resilience.

Volunteer efforts contribute to cleaner waterways and stronger natural systems that benefit both people and wildlife.

    • Riverbank cleanup and restoration activities

    • Education on river health and restoration techniques

    • A chance to work alongside fellow community members

    • Open to volunteers of all skill levels

Planning to Attend?

Ecosphere provides tools, guidance, and on-site support to ensure a safe and productive experience. Many of our events are open to volunteers of all ages, but please check with Ecosphere before bringing young children.

What to Bring

Closed-toed shoes that can get dirty, Sun protection (hat, sunscreen), Reusable water bottle, Positive energy and a willingness to help
